Red Carpet Special: Emmy Awards Bests!
The 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards aired last night, and TV’s leading ladies did not disappoint in their red carpet fashion picks! Here are the Pointy Toe Shoe Crew’s number one looks!
First, Madison Blake:
Nina Dobrev in Donna Karan

I love me a structured, vibrant red gown! And I love me some Canadian Degrassi-bred goodness! Therefore…I love Nina Dobrev in this Donna Karan gown! The Vampire Diaries beauty looks radiant with simple jewelry and sultry hair and makeup. If Dobrev is any indication, the next generation of Hollywood starlets is going to be a group to watch.
Second, KatelynD:
Emily Blunt in Elie Saab
It was hard to do, but I finally settled on my favourite dress of the evening and I am beyond happy with my decision. While not offering the same pop of colour as some of the other hits on the red carpet, Emily Blunt in Elie Saab offered dramatic and sexy couture. I adore the detail (Sequins! Beading!) and texture of this gown… and most of all, I am obsessed with the plunging neckline (is anyone really surprised?) Emily, who was there as arm candy for hubby John Krasinski, rocked the carpet! Love!
And finally, Megan West
Jennifer Carpenter in Tony Ward couture

I mean … I don’t actually know how to begin writing about this or how I will stop. I could rave on about this for the next year! When executed perfectly, there is nothing like the perfect blush gown embelished with a soft glitter infusion to create the ultimate red carpet look. There were a few nude looks out there tonight, but Jennifer Carpenter in this Tony Ward couture is out. of. control. The fit is impeccable, the colour is to-die-for against Jennifer’s bronzed skin, and her loose waves and simple makeup add a relaxed boho vibe to an otherwise super glam gown. The super chic accessories lend the perfect final touch to an overal a-ma-zing red carpet moment.
